Ohhh my god, I couldn't agree more. Except for the fact that this is a very rare day that I'm actually drunk. Bad Evil Alcohol. I just wanted to know what it felt like...just for a day...to try to make the pain disappear...and it didn't work, it's still here... *sighs*

Fifteen of my close friends have lost their lives to incedents where alcohol played a key role. They are all dead now, and none of them were over the age of 25. I hate it.

Crazy....People make choices though, and sometimes we have to place blame in order to give ourselves closure. I don't mean to sound rude when I say this but I do believe It's not alcohols fault people over drink it, and make stupid ass decisions because of it. It's NOT alcohols fault that someone decides to pick up a gun or drive a car after consuming it. It's the choice of the person to drink, they should know before they swallow. If a person cannot provide a safe environment after they drink, they should not drink. (I really don't mean that to sound rude) And as for drunk drivers....ASSHOLES SHOULD NOT DRINK AND DRIVE but they know this - alcohol just increases idiocity, it's not creating it.

I am not against alcohol in moderation. Even I drink champagne at a cast party after a successful month of shows. Alcohol cannot make choices ergo cannot hold blame. Yet it is such a dangerous thing. As you drink it the feeling of intoxication is clouded and you continue to drink more and the more you drink the less you feel it. Such a deadly effect. It is not about creating a safe environment when you drink, it's about knowing your limits and not drinking in excess. Even in a safe environment, too much alcohol can kill you.
